Soil & Water: Greens prefer rich, fertile soil with a pH of 6.0 to 7.5 and plenty of added organic matter. Water regularly and evenly to avoid bitterness.
Planting & Growing: Sow seeds indoors fall to spring, or sow seeds directly as soon as soil can be worked. Plant every 2 weeks for a continuous harvest for as long as cool weather lasts. Begin planting again in fall for fall and winter harvests.
Harvesting & Storage: Begin harvesting individual leaves after the center rosette has begun to develop.
